What was done
S-Engineering has a track record of successfully modernizing power supply systems and monitoring the power supply network of railways. The main sections of the railway system of Kazakhstan operate on equipment manufactured by S-Engineering according to the German technology Siemens Sitras ® ASG25.
Thanks to the highest level of production processes, S-Engineering has become the second company in the world (!), which Siemens AG has entrusted with the production of cells using this unique technology.
What was done:
- Supply of cells for three traction substations manufactured using Siemens Sitras ASG25 technology and integration of seven reconstructed traction substations into a single SCADA system with dispatch centers in Astana and Karaganda of Kazakhstan Railways JSC National Company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy.
- A set of works on the integration of the reconstructed traction substation “Astana” of the Kazakhstan Railways into the SCADA system of the dispatch center “Astana”.
Also, the company’s specialists took part in testing and commissioning the monitoring and control system for traction substations, which allows maintenance personnel to manage the power supply to the supply network in real time locally, as well as from dispatch centers.
