“S-Engineering” Company Innovation Laboratory Opening at Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies

“S-Engineering” Company opened “The Academic and Research Laboratory of Digital Technologies for Automation and Electric Drive” at Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies. The laboratory will function on the basis of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics. The classroom was completely overhauled, wherein the newest equipment based on the technologies of leading world’s companies-manufacturers was installed.

““S-Engineering” Company opens this laboratory in order to help the Academy to prepare high level experts. Since it is impossible to become a top specialist without obtaining practical skills using equipment, which has been already used at enterprises. When developing stands for the laboratory we used SIEMENS equipment of 2018-2019. Therefore, minimum 10 years this laboratory will present modern processes of automation and electric power supply of industrial enterprises in a contemporary context, will assist the further introduction of energy-efficient and economically sound solutions at enterprises”, says the Chairman of the Management Board of “S-Engineering” Company Batyr Annaev.

Using the equipment of “The Academic and Research Laboratory of Digital Technologies for Automation and Electric Drive” students will be able to study certain solutions, being implemented by the specialists of “S-Engineering” Company in the large-scale projects in various industries. During the course of performance of laboratory-based works students will gain practical experience when assembling control circuits and their research. The structure of stands allows to combine them against each other and do laboratory-based works of various complexity, as well as to simulate production problems. The laboratory stands are divided into several groups: electrical engineering, electric drive, automation and SCADA-system.

For “S-Engineering” Company this project is a subsequent step of longstanding and efficient collaboration with Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies. Over 20% employees of “S-Engineering” Company are the Academy graduating students. Students, post-graduate student and employees on a regular basis undergo practical training at the Company. The Chairman of “S-Engineering” Company Batyr Annaev is a member of the Supervisory Board of Odessa National Academy of Food Technologies. Precisely, due to the initiative of Batyr Annaev “The Academic and Research Laboratory of Digital Technologies for Automation and Electric Drive” was created.
