The impact on the economy of Ukraine of infrastructure projects carried out by S-Engineering - 1
Three ships with grain left Chornomorsk today and another one from Odessa, according to the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine. These vessels are sent to the ports of Italy, China and Turkey.
As one of the projects to improve the infrastructure of Ukraine, S-Engineering performed the reconstruction of the 0.4 kV switchgear of the transformer substation and the input switchgear of the IPTs building for the port of Chornomorsk. The modernization of the 10 kV power supply system of the port administration building was also implemented.
And having predicted many years ago the trend of the needs of the food industry market to reduce the cost of transshipment of grain and bulk cargo, S-Engineering developed and patented the SENUMAC bulk material transport and flow line control technology. And today, this topic of grain transshipment is very important for the economic decisions of Ukraine and in connection with the relevance of opening a sea corridor for the export of agricultural products.
SENUMAC technology has been introduced in Ukraine at sea terminals with a design capacity of 6.5 million tons: Posco and Cofco International in Nikolaev, Novotech Terminal in Odessa. At the sea terminal “Grintour-Ex” (Bunge Limited) implementation of SENUMAC technology is at the final stage. Two more terminals on the Black Sea coast are under development, with a total transshipment capacity of 9 million tons per year.
Thanks to SENUMAC there is:
– increase in productivity (decrease in loading time) by 10.2%;
– reduction of specific electricity consumption by 11%;
– improving the quality of the process of loading ships in comparison with manual control;
– reduction of wear and tear of transport equipment;
– reduction of grain damage during transportation due to uniform loading of transport equipment;
– formation of a ship lot from several (up to 10) sources of grain in automatic mode;
– system output to the set mode is 4 times faster than manual control.
Recall that on July 22 in Istanbul, at the UN proposals, Ukraine, Turkey and UN Secretary-General António Guterres signed the Initiative for the safe transportation of grain and food from the Ukrainian ports of Odessa, Chornomorsk and Yuzhny.
