The system of training and development of employees in S-Engineering
People are the main capital of any country and company. Developing employees, the company strengthens its position in the market. In S-Engineering, the employee training process has long been systematized and is a part of the company’s established business processes. After all, time and material resources are planned in advance for this.
Thus, the heads of departments and divisions annually draw up an individual professional development plan for each employee. This list includes both field events of partner companies and internal master classes of more experienced S-Engineering colleagues. According to Siemens training programs, our specialists annually participate in international training programs at Siemens offices in Germany and Austria. For example, programmers and commissioning employees underwent training and certification on working in the Simatic PCS-7 programming environment. Improving our experience in the field of power supply, our specialists attended Siemens Energy Management seminars in Belgium. On MES systems, after signing the agreement on Siemens Simatic IT, there were several trainings from specialists from Spain. Now, under quarantine conditions, the scheduled time for certain employees to view Siemens webinars is scheduled.
S-Engineering has a program to improve skills in the EPLAN CAD system. A group of more experienced designers develops specific solutions and then transfers the information, trains other employees of the design department.
The author’s Mentor system, which operates at S-Engineering for students, is also interesting. For a long time, a young specialist is “assigned” to a profile employee who teaches him all the nuances of work, transfers experience, and develops skills.
Thanks to experienced specialists, a full production cycle, and the introduction of the latest technologies, the S-Engineering name has been a quality mark in the engineering services market for more than 13 years.
