On June 22, the first corporate billiards tournament was held in Odessa, the discipline is a free pyramid, organized by S-Engineering. The tournament was attended by representatives of companies – partners and customers of the Odessa engineering company. The organizers set the goal of uniting, with the help of billiard sports, representatives of large Ukrainian businesses working in the real sector of the economy and creating the welfare of the country. The tournament was timed to coincide with the Constitution Day of Ukraine.

The tournament’s partner was the Billiard Sports Association – a civil organization engaged in the development of billiard sports in Odessa.

According to the chairman of the board of S-Engineering LLC Batyr Annaiev, playing billiards resembles an engineering business. “Everything in this game is subject to a clear algorithm. Precise calculation, composure, skill, courage and innovative solutions are needed. And it is your determination and your best practice that will allow you to succeed and win the game,” B. Annaiev noted.

28 billiard fans from ADEPT GROUP, LVN Limited, Metropolia, Port Solar, SE Siemens-Ukraine, Rice Oil Terminal and S-Engineering took part in the competition. According to the participants of the tournament, the matches with the participation of Sergey Reshetnik (Siemens Ukraine), Alexander Gavrilenko (LVN Limited) and Grigory Formagey (Ris Oil Terminal) became especially tense, who took fourth place in a stubborn struggle.

The list of winners was distributed as follows: 2nd and 3rd places were taken by S-Engineering representatives Batyr Annaev and Vyacheslav Yakovenko. And the first place was won by the representative of the company “Port Solar” Alexander Katsarsky. Recall that Solar Port is one of the solar energy facilities under construction, the project for which is currently being implemented by S-Engineering.

All participants of the tournament received special commemorative medals, and the top three winners received exclusive commemorative cups.

The S-Engineering cup tournament will become an annual event, but this year, with the participation of the company and the Billiard Sports Association, a number of events are planned to develop billiard sports in the Odessa region.
