Modernization of the recipe station of the confectionery factory “Mondelez Ukraine”

A new project at one of the largest confectionery enterprises in Ukraine was completed by S-Engineering. Our specialists have performed a set of works on the modernization of the prescription station of the Mondelez Ukraine factory *. The main function of the recipe station is the preparation of chocolate masses, from which chocolate products are then produced.

The modernized control system of the recipe station performs dosing of dry and liquid ingredients in accordance with the recipe, and also allows you to prepare chocolate masses with a given ratio of components. Thus, thanks to the modernization, explosion safety, the productivity of the recipe station, and, as a result, the quality of the preparation of chocolate masses has increased.

The list of works on the project included:

development of project documentation;
renewal of the recipe station due to the complete replacement of technological equipment;
development and implementation of a modern recipe station automation system, complementing the existing SCADA system;
complete replacement of pipelines for supplying liquid ingredients throughout the recipe station (3 floors, 3 lines of the station);
modernization of lines of vacuum pipelines for dosing dry components;
dismantling, construction works (arrangement of new openings in the ceilings for tanks);
installation of technological equipment, electrical work on the storage and dosing system of dry components;
alignment of existing cable routes with hygienic requirements;
commissioning works, personnel training.

Note that when developing the project for the pipelines of liquid ingredients, S-Engineering specialists used 3D design, which made it possible to make an optimal decision on the location of pipelines in a limited space. All work on the project was correlated in advance with the periods of planned production stops, which made it possible to complete all work on time.

Also, a feature of this project was that S-Engineering performed, among other things, non-core work for itself: design of construction, technological parts, dismantling, installation of technological equipment, welding, construction work.
