Modernization of the transformer substation of the main production building of the confectionery factory

S-Engineering completed the reconstruction of the transformer substation of the main production building of the Mondelez Ukraine confectionery factory (Trostyanets, Sumy region). This Ukrainian enterprise is part of the Mondelēz International* group of companies, the world’s largest producer of chocolate products, cookies, and sweets.
According to the modernization project developed by our specialists, a full cycle of oil transformers with six new Siemens AG Geafol dry transformers in protective covers was completed. The total capacity of the transformer substation is 6 000 kVA. The substation provides power to the main production building Mondelis Ukraine, as well as the administrative building.
It is important to note that the works were developed in the conditions of the existing food enterprise with a continuous production cycle, without stopping production.
Old power transformers were put into operation more than 30 years ago and at the time of replacement they were physically and morally obsolete, they completely exhausted the resource, New transformers ensure operational safety, cost-effectiveness due to low losses and maintenance costs, as well as increase the reliability of power supply.
Siemens AG Geafol transformers comply with European Economic Area (EEA) on environmental standards 209/125/EC.
