The production of equipment for the SPP “Port-Solar” (Izmail) was organized on the basis of the company “S-Engineering”

One of the subdivisions of the SE group International holding, SEMAG, manufactured and supplied equipment for the Port-Solar solar power plant in Izmail, Odessa region.

The company’s task was to manufacture and supply the main power equipment for converting solar energy into electrical energy and further transmission to the energy system of Ukraine. SEMAG specialists manufactured the following equipment at their own production facilities:

– five separate block-type inverter complete substations – IKTPB-1000;

– combined power collection substation – RP-6 kV with two integrated IKTPB 1000.

“Such equipment of our own design using European technologies will reduce energy losses, reduce maintenance time, and also guarantee the quality of electricity supplied to the system,” says Alexander Semenyug, General Director of SEMAG.

SEMAG production facilities are equipped with modern high-precision equipment and an electrical laboratory in accordance with international norms and standards. The company’s employees are constantly improving their skills and increasing their experience – they study and practice at the enterprises of SIEMENS AG, AEG PS and other European partners.

Recall that UDP Renewables installed more than 25.7 thousand solar panels manufactured by Jinko Solar on an area of ​​16 hectares. It is expected that the Port-Solar SPP will generate about 11.8 thousand MWh of electricity per year. SPP with a capacity of 8.6 MW was put into operation in early October 2019.
