Quality control at S-Engineering is carried out at all stages of production — from project development and materials inspection to commissioning and start-up. The Quality Department also monitors customer feedback and ensures that corrective actions are taken by the responsible teams.

The department consists of two units: the Technical Control Department (TCD) and the Electrical Testing Laboratory (ETL).

Testing ensures reliability even in challenging conditions, minimizes accident risks, and reduces maintenance costs.

What the service includes

The Technical Control Department and Laboratory perform:

Incoming inspection (verification of materials and components upon delivery).

Review of design documentation for compliance with EU and Ukrainian standards.

Inspection of switchgear assembly (mechanical accuracy, proper busbar and frame assembly).

Monitoring of production discipline.

Verification of equipment completeness before shipment (documentation, components, etc.).

The Electrical Testing Laboratory (ETL) performs several types of tests:

Verification of mechanical parts and dielectric strength tests with industrial-frequency high voltage.

Factory acceptance tests of switchgear before shipment from S-Engineering’s production site.

Site acceptance tests after installation — covering all electrical checks before commissioning. These comprehensive tests are carried out for equipment up to 1 kV and up to 35 kV inclusive.

The S-Engineering Laboratory has passed accreditation and holds a certificate of conformity with DSTU ISO 10012:2005 measurement system standards. The Quality Department employs five experienced engineers with extensive industry expertise.
