June 2019. The first corporate billiards tournament for the S-Engineering Cup took place in Odesa
On June 22 in Odesa, the first corporate billiards tournament in the discipline of free pyramid was held, organized by S-Engineering. The tournament brought together representatives of the partner and client companies of the Odesa engineering company.
The organizers set the goal of the competition as uniting representatives of large Ukrainian businesses engaged in the real sector of the economy and contributing to the country’s prosperity through billiards. The tournament was timed to coincide with Constitution Day of Ukraine.
The tournament partner was the Billiards Sports Association – a public organization engaged in the development of billiards sports in Odesa.
According to Batyr Annaiev, Chairman of the Board of S-Engineering, the game of billiards resembles the engineering business.

The competition was attended by 28 billiards enthusiasts from companies ADEPT GROUP, LVN Limited, Metropolia, Port Solar, Siemens Ukraine, Rice Oil Terminal, and S-Engineering. According to participants, the most intense matches were those involving Serhii Reshetnyk (Siemens Ukraine), Oleksandr Havrylenko (LVN Limited), and Hryhorii Formagei (Rice Oil Terminal), who took fourth place after a hard-fought battle.
The top three winners were as follows: second and third places went to S-Engineering representatives Batyr Annaiev and Viacheslav Yakovenko, while the first place was taken by Oleksandr Katsarsky from Port Solar. It is worth noting that Port Solar is one of the solar energy facilities currently being constructed under a project implemented by S-Engineering.
All participants received special commemorative medals, and the top three winners were awarded exclusive trophies.
The S-Engineering Cup tournament will become an annual event. This year, together with the Billiards Sports Association, several more events are planned to promote the development of billiards sports in the Odesa region.
