Oil extraction plant modernization projects in Europe

Our goal is to make the client’s product more competitive by improving automation and power supply solutions.

We continue cooperation with an international corporation for the production of food products. S-Engineering employees have completed several projects for an oil extraction plant in Europe. This is a plant for the production of sunflower and rapeseed oil – 1,500 tons per day and soybean oil – up to 1,000 tons per day, as well as for the production of biodiesel up to 100,000 tons per year.

Our experts conducted an audit of the automation and power supply systems of all areas of the plant, including the extraction and biodiesel production lines. The information collected during the audit and the documents developed are the first stage of future modernization projects.

For all sites, the basic design of the transition project to the PCS7 process control system was developed with support for the following functions:
– reservation of transmission networks;
– cluster of servers, virtualization of PCS7 servers, operator stations;
– cyber security;
– improving the quality of management, personnel safety.

This will reduce the downtime of the enterprise, increase the reliability and informativeness of equipment management.

At the moment, service work on equipment adjustment and planned and preventive work is being carried out at the facility.
