S-Engineering implemented its proprietary SENUMAC technology for the new Posco International grain terminal
The SENUMAC technology, developed and patented by S-Engineering, has been implemented for the new grain terminal of the Korean corporation Posco International and the Ukrainian group Orexim in Mykolaiv.
SENUMAC is an automatic control technology for loading bulk material conveyor lines that increases terminal productivity by more than 10%, with dosing accuracy exceeding 90%. This results in shorter vessel berthing times.
Our technology helps reduce specific energy consumption by more than 10%, automate the mixing of grain grades, and minimize the human factor. Thanks to the SENUMAC technology proposed at the design stage of the terminal, Orexim successfully presented the project to its partners and achieved the goal of creating a highly productive, energy-efficient terminal.
says Stanislav Shestopalov, Development Director at S-Engineering.
S-Engineering specialists also completed the following for this project:
- Development of design documentation and software;
- Manufacturing of electrical equipment;
- Commissioning and partial electrical installation work for the comprehensive automation and power supply systems.
The terminal, with a storage capacity of over 140,000 tons, was inaugurated on September 24, 2019.
