S-Engineering provides enterprise audit services
One of the company’s key areas of activity is conducting audits of industrial engineering systems and equipment to identify the need for optimization and modernization.
An audit of the automated process control system (APCS) and drive control system was carried out for the Client. The work consisted of two stages: the development of a test stand for the audit and the audit itself.
To perform the audit, S-Engineering engineers developed PLC and HMI software for the test stand, which allows analyzing the Client’s system performance to identify faulty, incorrectly operating, or non-optimized equipment. The stand consisted of a PLC S7-1200, an operator panel, and a TWERD MFC710 frequency converter.
Next, S-Engineering specialists conducted the audit, which identified all the parameters of the TWERD MFC710 frequency converter necessary to make substantiated conclusions about the system’s performance. A detailed and thorough analysis of the collected data was carried out on-site, followed by a report listing all the causes of the incorrect operation of specific equipment and the system as a whole that led to frequent equipment breakdowns.
The audit results confirmed that the recommendation to replace the existing drive equipment on the Client’s production line is a rational and economically justified solution to eliminate the causes of frequent equipment failures and production downtime.
