S-Engineering will act as the main Contractor for automating the Nemiroff alcohol production plant, based on Siemens AG control systems
Nemiroff company is continuing a large-scale modernization of its alcohol production plant in the Vinnytsia region, which was acquired as a part of the privatization program for state-owned assets in Ukraine’s alcohol industry. The international company S-Engineering will act as the main contractor for the plant’s automation. The Nemiroff plant will be equipped with new energy-efficient technological equipment, enabling to product the highest-quality alcohol.
S-Engineering company will perform a full range of automation works: project documentation development, software development, manufacturing and supply of equipment for control and drive systems, commissioning, and implementation of the process control system for alcohol production into industrial operation.
The PCS7 distributed control system from Siemens AG has been selected as the main control system for the plant. The PCS7 is the most advanced and large-scale control system in Siemens’ product line for the industrial enterprises. Representatives of Nemiroff, Siemens AG, SE “Siemens Ukraine”, and S-Engineering came to the agreement on implementing this control system, having met at the SPS 2024 exhibition in Nuremberg. It was held joint activities to get acquainted with Siemens AG’s technologies for alcohol and bioethanol production plants. Siemens AG specialists showed, where this system had been implemented and demonstrated know-how in this area. S-Engineering will become the contractor for implementing the PCS7 system at the Nemiroff plant – company with years of experience deploying the PCS7 systems at various enterprises and holding the status of Siemens Solution Partner PCS7.
After implementation, the PCS7 system will provide extensive capabilities for further scaling and development of the plant, enabling it to cover all areas of production, including additional properties. The implementation of this system will help Nemiroff to achieve maximum automation of the processes, leading to the high energy efficiency and product quality. Besides all the latest Siemens AG developments for the alcohol industry will also be implemented as a part of the project.
The renovated Nemiroff plant will supply high-quality alcohol raw materials as well as the main facility of the company producing alcoholic beverages, located in Nemyriv, the Vinnytsia region.
