The comprehensive power supply project for an oil refinery in the Middle East
S-Engineering specialists have completed the comprehensive power supply project for an oil refinery in the Middle East. The equipment, produced and delivered to the customer, provides power to eight sections of the refinery.
The comprehensive supply included:
- modular buildings in which there is SIVACON 6300A distribution equipment;
- dry-type transformers in cast resin insulation for 4000 kVa in protective housings with forced air flow;
- design of foundations and supporting structures of modular buildings and power transformers
The peculiarity of this project was that the ambient temperature in the plant area in summer is +60 degrees and humidity is up to 100%. Therefore, air conditioners for the ventilation system of block-modular buildings were purchased in Dubai. Installation of the equipment and adjustment of engineering systems of block-modular buildings were carried out at the production facilities of S-Engineering before being sent to the customer.
