The transformer substation reconstruction project for an enterprise that manufactures commercial equipment

Our specialists completed the transformer substation reconstruction project for an enterprise that manufactures commercial equipment and exports it to more than 75 countries around the world, having replaced the main switchboard and busbar trunking on a turnkey basis. It was developed and commissioned new equipment in the conditions of an operating enterprise with minimal disruption to the technological process. The new switchboard provides power supply to all production shops of the enterprise. It was manufactured using Siemens Sivacon S8 technology and has maximum functionality for monitoring the parameters of switching equipment and electrical network parameters, namely, the state of circuit breakers, current loads, busbar temperature, etc.

The Siemens Sivacon S8 construct allows for the safest and fastest maintenance of switchboard equipment without stopping the company’s technological process. Thus, downtime is minimized.

The new transformer substation meets modern requirements for digitalization, reliability and operational safety. The customer will be able to monitor electricity consumption parameters online, detect malfunctions in due time, predict and plan electricity consumption in greater details. An alternative power source operation mode is also provided, for which dispatching and control capabilities were integrated into the switchboard.

It should also be noted that S-Engineering specialists developed the replacement project of busbar trunking over 140 meters long, which supplies important production units of the enterprise. One of the important conditions for replacing the busbar trunking with Siemens is project implemention without stopping the production, which our team managed to do by dismantling the old equipment and installing the new one.
