Ammonia Pipeline “Tolyatti – Odesa” (SE “Ukrkhimtransammiak”)

Description

SE “Ukrkhimtransammiak” is the operator of the Ukrainian section of the main ammonia pipeline “Tolyatti – Odesa”. The ammonia pipeline is a unique facility in terms of its technical solutions, scale and purpose. It transports liquid ammonia to the Odesa Port Plant, from where it is exported to Europe, Asia and the USA.

What was done

S-Engineering implemented a complex large-scale project on the “Tolyatti – Odesa” main ammonia pipeline (total length 2195 km, ammonia pumping volume 2.5 million tons per year):

• modernization of the control system for the ammonia pumping technological process;
• reconstruction of 34 lower-level ACS TP Matra stations along the Ukrainian section of the “Tolyatti – Odesa” ammonia pipeline;
• development and implementation of an independent digital system for recording the operating parameters of the ammonia pumping automation system;
• installation of a comprehensive set of technical safety systems.
