What was done

Participation in the technical re-equipment of the 330 kV “Novokyivska” substation commissioned by the “Soyuz” Corporation for Ukrenergo.

S-Engineering specialists designed, manufactured, and supplied a complete transformer substation (CTS) for own needs 38.5/0.4 kV, 630 kVA.

Optimal equipment layout made it possible to manufacture the CTS within the dimensions of a standard container in a block-modular building (BMB), which was delivered to the “Novokyivska” substation. Thanks to this, only connecting the ready-made CTS to the general power supply system was required at the facility.

The CTS includes a Siemens Geafol dry transformer, a Siemens 8DA 38.5 kV gas-insulated switchgear, and a Siemens Sivacon 0.4 kV switchgear.

Using gas-insulated switchgear significantly reduced the size of the CTS and increased operational safety. The Siemens SIPROTEC5 relay protection and automation device installed in the CTS ensures maximum equipment protection and enables substation dispatching.

All works at the “Novokyivska” substation (Khotiv village, Kyiv region) were carried out on an active operating facility.
