Malyn Paper Mill (Weidmann)

Description

One of the largest pulp and paper enterprises in Ukraine. Located in the city of Malyn, Zhytomyr region. Currently, five technological production lines of the Malyn Paper Mill manufacture transformer board, electrical insulation paper for power cables and transformers, as well as other types of paper for various industrial applications, including packaging paper, filter paper and wallpaper base.

What was done

The following scope of works was carried out:

• design, installation and commissioning of the automation system for the pulp refining section in workshop No. 6;
  modernisation of the DC drive control system of the high-pressure pumps No. 1 and No. 2 of the pulp refining process in workshop No. 6;
• complete modernisation of the drives of pumps R4 and R3 of the refining section in workshop No. 6: equipment supply, installation and commissioning;
• design, manufacturing, installation and commissioning of control boards for the local drive control system of the pumps of the pulp refining section in workshop No. 6;
• equipment supply and execution of works on the modernisation of the BDМ-15 (size press) drive.
